OUR RESTORATION PROCESS

Your furniture is stripped down by hand  to the bare natural wood using water-based stripper,  so that the piece does not get damaged through the restoration process. We have  available  treatment against woodworm in case that your furniture needs it. At this point, once the piece is completely stripped down, then, we do the structural  repairs that are needed such as: joint re-gluing  veneering,  carving,  turning,  marquetry, reproducing missing parts, etc. Once the repairs are done then we fill the holes, cracks, joints using wood filler. Next the wood is sanded down  to take off all the dents, scratches and any  leftovers of wood filler. When the wood is completely sanded and ready to absorb the color then we apply the original color and finish or we can custom match it for you.
When the work is finished then an exhaustive quality control is done before the furniture is delivered to the customer to ensure full satisfaction.
